PSYCHOTHERAPY

A psychotherapy (talk therapy) appointment involves meeting with a licensed therapist or counselor to discuss and address emotional, psychological, or behavioral issues. This can include exploring thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in a safe and confidential setting. The therapist may use various techniques to help the individual gain insight, cope with challenges, and work toward positive change. While therapists do not prescribe medication, they may recommend herbal supplements and mindfulness tools to incorporate into the individual's treatment plan. The appointments are typically structured, and the therapist will guide the conversation to support the patient's mental and emotional well-being. At Arise, the therapy modalities we offer are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Our therapists work with individuals, couples, and families.
